Club Season & Types of Play

Our season is from April 1 to March 31. During club hours members have exclusive priority use of the 4 courts at Hawthorne Park, all year. All courts have lights for evening play.

We offer a mix of Open Play (members arrange matches with other members) and Organized Play (organized events, listed below).  Organized Play takes place from May to September only.  From October to March, when Organized Play stops, players arrange their own matches during club hours. During non-club hours, the courts are open to the public.

Club Hours & Organized Play Times

MONDAY Club Hours: 9am-1pm (Open Play for all hours)

TUESDAY Club Hours 5pm–10pm

5-8pm Organized Play: Drop-In all levels (show up & play)
Open Play during remaining club hours

WEDNESDAY Club Hours 9am-1pm and 5pm-10pm
6pm-8pm Organized Play: Structured (not drop-in) Intermediate Play 3.5+ level, Coordinator: Matt Barker
Open Play during remaining club hours

THURSDAY Club Hours 5pm–10pm
5-8pm Organized Play: Drop-In all levels (show up & play)
Open Play during remaining club hours

SATURDAY Club Hours 9am–5pm
10am-12pm Organized Play: Structured (not drop-in) Advanced Play 4.0+ level, Coordinator: Gary Porter
Open Play during remaining club hours

SUNDAY Club Hours 9am–5pm (Open Play for all hours)

NOTE:

Organized Play = organized events, from May to September only. 
Open Play = members arrange their own matches, with other club members, during these hours

Members are not permitted to schedule League/Ladder matches during Organized Play times (schedule them during Open Play times, or during public hours). EXCEPTION: Year-end tournament matches may take place during any club hours)
